As lead designer for the category of Running Performance Apparel, I designed the men’s activewear collection, producing 100+ styles per season. The Spring/Summer 2016 collection draws inspiration from Japan and features performance driven styles with premium fabrics, technologies and construction.As an amateur runner, I understand that functionality is key and so added additional pockets, ergonomic seams and laser-cut perforation for enhanced breathability, The marathon collection featured fabric which was lightest-in-class.The colour palette was designed to allow men to transition from running to recreation. Darkest navy and charcoal hues ensured each garment can fit into the consumers existing wardrobe and are designed-for-life, not just a season. Gold evokes the idea of winning and triumph.
